The best way, I've found, is to shower then use a standard body lotion e.g. Nivea soft on the area and then shave. The lotion evidently smoothes the path of the razor and I don't seem to get that horrible itchy red blotchy stuff when I do that.

I get barber's rash when shaving my face so I am glad that I don't have to shave anywhere else. However, I found that the Gillette Fusion razor (a vibrating wet razor) gets the job done with few strokes and less irritation.

It's best to do it in the bath, cos you've soaked the skin and hair. I always place my razor in a cup of hot water 5mins before I shave my lady garden off and it does make a difference. Your not meant to shave in the opposite direction of hair growth, but we all do it, to get ultra smooth. So I usually shave against the direction of growth, then in the direction of hair growth. God that sounds confusing, but if you understand what Im going on about, it does work. :)

wet the part with warm water and apply little gel/foam. wait a couple of minutes for the foam to get firmer and will pull the roots a little up. shave and repeat. wash away any soap. dry and use something like Nivea Aftershave with no Alchool. It worked for my ex girlfriend and my armpits.
But wax is wax

I've heard that Visine is a good remedy. The ingredient that shrinks the blood vessels in your eyes can help your rash. In the future, please feel free to contact me if ever need more help with your "undercarriage"(must be 18 yrs. or older. Proof of age is required).

if you have sensitive skin even waxing would probably be irritating as well, but the best way is this, use conditioner unless you have coochie shave, shave with the direction of the hair growth, and shave EVERY day.

make sure the area has had hot water run on it so it is nice and soft and saturated, then use shaving cream and really good razor. But make sure that water has run for at least 5 min on the area

I had this problem, so I bought a remmington bikini shaver, and before I use it I use a bit of talcum powder, and after, I use baby oil. The only problem is you have to do it everyday.
