And what's so bad about them playing rap music during races? Is them playing one little rap song going to affect you that much? That song that they played at the end wasn't even a rap song, it was a rock-rap song for crying out loud.
Some of you need to open your minds and your eyes and realize that Nascar fans come from all races, cultures and backgrounds.
Nascar isn't the same as it was back in 1976!! This is 2006, we're in a new decade, a new era, a new generation!!

Rance, why must you be so narrow-minded? Not all NASCAR drivers or fans like stuff like Toby Keith(I don't even listen to country music) Some of the younger drivers like stuff like Limp Bizkit and Metallica..I don't really dislike rap(old school is better than gangsta IMO)and I like a band that is 'rap-rock'(P.O.D.)and I listen to bands and artists I grew up with...And yes, I'm a NASCAR fan.

Why shouldn't they play rap, rock @ country or anything else they choose. Look at the ages of these guy's, don't you think some of them would like rap, there are some really young guy's out there.

What's the big deal if they did? I didn't get to see today's race, so maybe they did play a rap song, and maybe they didn't. But they're trying to appeal to everyone's likes. I'm an avid NASCAR fan, and I like music like all sorts of music (Blink-182, Clay Aiken, Bowling for Soup...)
Not all of us like the type of music that we fans have been stereotyped to like, and NASCAR realizes that.

I agree with the above Racing fans aren't photo copied. They have different interests get used to it.

It really doesn't work very well together, does it? However, until we have control over the music settings on race programs, I guess we can't complain.
