This straight person, (who also happens to be what most people would consider to be a conservative Christian), thinks that it is wrong to "bash" anyone. I haven't visited the LGBT board, so I don't know what's been said. But it sounds like persecution, plain and simple. Persecuting others for their choices or life-style is plain wrong.

I think that fear motivates persecution. A persecutor tries to force change in another person, so he won't have to deal with his own uncomfortable feelings about them. There may be other unhealthy reasons, too.

As a Christian, I may discuss scriptural reasons for my belief that someone is doing something or living in a way that is not in their best interest, but that would certainly not be my first topic of conversation. I also would not force my way onto a board that is intended to support another group in order to spout off my views. Possibly, I might come on some particular board, ask questions and while responding, give reasons for my own beliefs--and later may need to defend them--but that is all I can or should do. If I encountered hateful postings back, it's best to leave.

Even if a person is convinced he is completely right, and is sure that his reasons are unassailable, it's still wrong to try to force change in someone else. No human has the authority. No matter what actions or life-style is under discussion, each person has to come to his own conclusions about whether his own behavior/lifestyle benefits him or not, and make his own decisions about whether to change.

I hope what I've written is clear. Of course, other straight people will possibly disagree with me.

Well, two of my straight friends were here last night at a party..I showed them, they thought a few of those claiming to be straight here were more than a little off kilter, and in fact, the first thing they asked was, "why would a straight guy hang around in a gay forum..." When even the straight guys ask this, it leaves little doubt as to what is really going on, doesn't it?

human beings prefer jobs and to be risk-free from terrorist assaults they don't care who gets audited by potential of the IRS. Few human beings have any sympathy for people who get political welfare and tax breaks collectively as maximum persons are taxed to loss of life in this united states of america. next year, we would desire to continually all record a 501 C-4 sort and declare we are a political enterprise which prevents the IRS from auditing us. it would be a perfect thank you to laundry money.

I am bisexual not straight but I am quite sure that the bashers are really homosexuals in denial and the ones asking intelligent non threatening questions are secure in thier own sexuality therefore they are 100% straight.
