yes, a passport is federal. you will also need other things like a birth certificates and other ID's that have your current address.

you can apply for a passport from your local post office, or to a passport office in your town, but first you must be a US Citizen, Are You????? Going to a school in PA, for what? To be an MD?? Or, you have an MD licence from another Country, and want to apply a US Passport with your MD licence as your Identification???

This is not exactly an answer but a comment (although I'm positive you can anywhere in the US), do you people not know what she meant by MD? if we're talking about states here she meant Maryland!!!!!!!!!!

l have offered a fishing license in each and all of the final 40-5 years. l have yet to be asked for an id while finding out to purchase one. l have been asked while finding out to purchase looking licenses regardless of the undeniable fact that, yet no longer continuously. l think of you will have not have been given any problem. in basic terms bypass to your community walmart and get it. they're even attainable on line.
