If you have the certificates, take them to a broker to sell them.
Scottrade will probably offer the cheapest way to sell them. Check to see if there is a Scottrade office near you.
Alternately, Schwab and Fidelity would also be reasonably priced.
You will have to open an account. Check to see that there are no account-closing fees if your intent is to sell the certificates and take the cash.

Go out by the street and start waving them around, with a sign posted that says " stock for sale, by owner". It don't cost squat to sell them that way.

Find a buyer for your shares yourself and transfer the shares to him/her using the certificate.
