I have been an Anime "Otaku" (like u said^^) since i was around 10 years old. Pokemon and Yugioh is my very first anime, then Digimon. When I was 7th grade (last year), i began to watch Naruto and Inuyasha in youtube. Before i can get to watch around episode 10 on both Naruto and Inuyasha, I heard some other shows are better. My sister recommend me to watch Shakugan no Shana, and so I did. That anime was the first one to finish watching the whole serie. I then got desperate and so I watch another anime. I then watched Bleach and Tsubasa Chronicle. I love these shows, more than any other, but I like Tsubasa Chronicle better. And now im still watching them (i got very impatient and desperate waiting for the next episodes). But oh well, that's all i can say! ^^

Oh gosh, for a loooong time! At least since I was 9, so around 9 years now. I started watching a little bit of Dragonball Z, but got off that once I got into Pokemon and Sailor Moon. Dumped Pokemon after a very short time, but kept up with Sailor Moon until I fell back into Dragonball Z. Now, I'm still a big DBZ fan, but I LOVE Inuyasha, too. Trigun is pretty good, but I prefer Cowboy Bebop. I got into manga reading, too. My favorites are Marmalade Boy and Mars.

I first new about anime when I was around six or seven years old, when I watched Miyazaki's Kiki's Delivery Service. I remember it because my dad had to pay a late fee at Blockbuster because it was 5 days overdue. I also watched Pokemon and Digimon, and all that time I realized how cleaner, cooler, and simply superior those shows were compared to other American cartoons. That's when I realized they were being done in a much different and more artistic technique, the form of anime. Also, one of my very first memories of anime was when I saw a glimpse of Escaflowne when I was around that age, when it was still airing on tv, when the doppleganger entered the enemy's ship and took the priest guy's form and killed him. Also when Van was a child and revealed his Draconian wings to the startled peasant onlookers, and also when he saved Hitomi and the cat girl was saying "don't look at him!" I guess that those scenes, the artisticness of it, and just the distinct difference of it when compared to American cartoons, really made an impression on me. It wasn't until a few months ago that I realized it was Escaflowne I'd been watching.

I've been an Otaku for at least since I was six. I watched Pokemon and Sailor Moon too, but I only recently (like two or three years ago) started to buy manga and really watch anime. ^-^

The first anime I watched was probably either sailor moon, or Pokemon, when I was about five of six. America screws up anime all the time, so at that time, I didn't know they were from Nihon. Otaku chikara!!!

^_^ I guess I was like...12 when I first started watching Sailor Moon, and I was like..This is kinda cool, and started learning how to draw like it. I got really involved in Anime when I entered High School when I was 14, 'cause there was an Anime Club at our school, and then I was elected president of the club in my final year, and we went to an anime convention dressed like characters from Outlaw star.

So..about 5 years, I've been an otaku. 'cause I'm 19 now.

I have been an anime fan for seven years, and my first anime was Fushigi Yugi. I've moved on since then to things like Sailor Moon, Cowboy Bebop, and Chrono Crusade, but Fushigi Yugi will always have a special place in my heart.

I believe the first anime I ever watched was either Iria back when the Sci-Fi channel had their late night anime thing or Akira. The first anime I saw that I knew was anime and got me into the scene was Slayers: The Motion Picture. That was 7 years ago. Man I feel old. ~_~
