Because you don't have a real education or a job with medical benefits. Now go to school, learn something (High school wasn't enough) Then go get a job and work your way into a company that provides a medical plan, or purchase your own medical insurance. No the government will not provide this for you (See communist country) then you'll be fine :)

Addition: Most of you where too young to remember when Hillary Clinton, yup thats right, Hillary (Bills wife) tried to put together a national health referendum about 1994. When americans figired out that there taxes where going to go from an average of 23 percent to ohhhhhh around 35 percent, everybody in the country rallied against it. I have no doubt the same thing would happen again. I for one have no intentions of paying those kinds of taxes. and as on person that gave there answer here, See ya at the polls nov. 7th.

You need to do a little research and find a doctor who good for you. I know plenty of Medicaid patients who have fantastic doctors...these are doctor s who care about their patients and the patients care about them. I recommend you get the book "Healthcare for Less" by Michelle Katz. These patients told me about the book and that is how they found these doctors. The book taught them how to find a good doctor and work the system so they get great discounts! You can get the book for $15 at Barnes and Noble, but they got their books for about $10 on www.amazon.com. All it takes is a little research and you can get the best healthcare like they did!!!!!

That's not the truth! Majority of all employers offer medical benefits. Now the co-pays and price of the medical benefits is determined by how much the employer is willing to put into benefits for the employee.

Try Blue Cross Blue Shield.

The cost of healthcare has gone up.

Doctors want to make more money.

It's a capitalist society, and that means the bottom line is the dollar bill.

Think about this when you go to the polls Nov. 7.

Proper medical care is expensive, so lower class people can't really afford it. I learned from my teacher that Magic Johnson has HIV. It suppose to affect how you look, but since he has the money to afford good medication, it doesn't really show the illness's affect on his facial expressions. For others, it does since they can't afford the medicine to treat it. So you see, it's really based on how much money you earn.
