Ok I'm not black but what difference does it make if your black and your boyfriends black? Is your friend white? I always said you can't help who you fall in love with. I say no your not racist. Maybe your friend is. Good luck

Only if you have racist feelings, then you're racist. Just
because you're black, and your boyfriend is black that
doesn't make you a racist. If you're dating him because
he is black, that might make you racist, against other races.
If you're dating him for other reasons other than his race, then
you're not racist. You should date the person because you like
that person and want to date that person, not what the person's race is.

I think your friend has stepped over her bounds. Perhaps you should drop her, as she will next decide that she should go out with your boyfriend to 'save' you from your 'racist' tendencies.

Get some new friends, imo.

how is that racist? your friend is being ridiculous, dont listen to her. race shouldnt matter in relationships, whether they are mixed ethnicities or the same. also, man people are more comfortable dating within their race. whether you do or dont is your choice, but neither is racist.

Nope. That's natural. It's natural for people to prefer some looks over others in potential mates, and those preferences generally go along racial lines because people mostly like the looks of others who they've been around most.

Having preferences for what you think looks good based on how people look is not prejudism. Having preferences for what you think of people just based on how they look is prejudism.
