I just got home from 2 wonderful days up at Camp Wishon and was surprised with the rain. The Day fire should be either out or contained by tomorrw. that one is about 50 miles from me and I am tired of ash and smoke here in the valley. (By the way...the trout was biting really good at Camp Wishon!! Woo Hoooo!)

Its bitter sweet.
The blistering summers are over. Our week of fall, at least in the Central Valley, has begun. It goes from 95 to 55 in 7 days.
In a month we will be snow-boarding on 8 feet of snow.
Your right, I hope this simmers those wild fires. It'll clean the air for sure.

Oh I know!! I am so happy to see we are getting a little rain finally. One of the things I can't stand about So. Cali is the fact that it hardly ever rains!

Well it's good to hear some relief for you. It has rained alot here in Michigan this year. Frankly I'm glad to hear someplace that needs it is getting it instead of us!!!!
