this is on a1987-----Oldsmobile 98 Regency front wheel drive. I need repair maintanace and adjustments for the transaxle

even if you could adjust a twenty year old transaxle how long would the rest of the gear box clutches last? Or for that matter the engine? Helms manual may have a reprint transaxle book but I would check reference at public libary. I just purchased 3 V body books and three GM car and light truck transmission books from helm for $180 dollars. Thats 10 dollars a pound. I do not think CD rom is available for your year CD's would have cost me $400 but would cover the entire 2006 product line. Do you think you would not look good in a new Buick Lucerne V-8

Look on eBay for the relevant shop manual.
