What is the best way to sell a barn in great shape that we have no way of taking down? We are in michigan so we want to advertise all through the us.

selling it without the land? That's tough. Barns are lovely and add character. You should preserve it. If not, consider http://www.craigslist.com

We sold our barn to someone that used the old wood to build a winery type cafe. Put an ad in a news paper saying that your barn is in good shape, buyer must dismantle, put signs in the hardware stores, feed stores, etc.

OK, how can you sell it if you can not take it down? How does the new owner taken poccession if they can not take it down???

OK, now we have cobered that small issue....
is it an OLD barn. Cause if it is..... artists, craft people and so on across the US will be clammering to buy it - IF they can take it apart.

I'd advertise on EBay.

Take some nice pictures of it and put it on ebay... OR through a local newspaper OR put some notices up at local malls/shops etc...

PS - add in the notice that the buyer will have to arrange their own dismantling..
