The Dine' [Navajo] pushed out the Chacoans [misnamed Anasazi], who are probably ancestors of Hopi and Zuni.

There was ongoing "warfare" between the Dine' and neighbors, but it was nothing like the total warfare concept we have today. Mostly it involved stealing each other's stuff, critters, and women.

The Apache are blood-related to the Dine'.

The Pueblo Indians were often targets of the Dine' raids, but more as targets and not as foes.
