I am taking Gen Chem 2 and Organic 1 at the same time. I am also taking genetics. So it is a full load + 3 labs. I am now struggling as the course load is too much for me and I have made up my mind that I need to drop a course. I will keep Genetics as I need it. Now the choice is left between Gen Chem 2 and Organic 1. Which one should I drop? I never realized I would be in such a big mess. I did very bad on the first Organic exam really bad! Can you please suggest me which one to drop ?

Melaine : My Gen Chem 2 exam is coming up soon and I havent studied for it either as Organic 1 is taking all of my time. I am in a terrible mess. I dont want to screw up my GPA either.

I would drop the one where you have the lowest grade. That way it will not mess up your GPA.

Yes, you're taking too much. Drop Organic. I'm surprised they let you in without already having the full Gen Chem sequence behind you. Organic, Biochem, and Physical Chem are all killers.
For what it's worth, the average BS degree takes 6 years these days. Don't get discouraged. Hang in there.

Drop the organic *IMMEDIATELY* and then start studying for the Gen Chem 2 ASAP
Dont stress out about this situation. The more you dwell on it, the more difficult of a time you'll have getting back on track. Its OK that this happened; that is how people learn from their mistakes.
Focus on repairing the damage that has been done and you will be fine.

i think you should take your other test and see what grade you get then you should decide which course you should drop
