My laptop is only 10 feet away from my wireless router, and it shows it's disconnected. It IS connected though, as it let me ask this question. But it keeps going off and on and it's getting annoying. Is there something I can do to stop this?

Sounds like it could be a problem with your router and/or wireless card in your laptop. Try unplugging your router from the wall for about 30 seconds then plug it back in. That could possibly fix the problem. If not then you might want to get your laptop checked out if your that close and the connection still gives out.

Unhook the Router for a couple of Minutes and Turn everything off. Mine does that all the time. That usualy helps.
