There is no evidence to support the Idea that Histamine acts as an Anticoagulant. Histimine is related to the Nasal Passages and Stomach. Below is a list of known and used Antigoagulants.
Oral
Acenocoumarol
Tablets (Canada)
Anisindione
Tablets (U.S.)
Dicumarol
Tablets (U.S.)
Warfarin
Tablets (U.S. and Canada)
Parenteral
Warfarin
Injection (U.S. and Canada)
Anisindione This may be confused by some to mean Antihistimine, but it is not.

hi, its totally false,, histamine doesnt stand any where for antic-coagulant.. it acts on H- receptors and have nothing to do with coagulation,
Histamine is more ever related with allergy.. as you must have heard of anti-histamine medicines used in hayfever.

False. I think it is anti-thrombin 3 (AT-III). Or maybe factor 10A. depends on what stimulates the coagulation in the first place.
