Being a Bears fan,I hate to admit it but probably Barry.Remember he'd carry the ball, he would zig, zag while the defender would zag, zig Barry carried the team so much. No wonder he got frustrated and left.

Neither. Jim Brown was the best ever, followed closely by Walter Payton. Gale Sayers could very well have been the best, but his career was cut short by injuries. Barry Sanders was the best of his generation of running backs (Even though he gained less yards than Emmit Smith), because like Payton, he was the only offensive player that a defense had to worry about.

the only participant I’ve ever watched with comparable strikes to Barry Sanders became into Gale Sayers. yet Sayers became into greater and extra of a slasher sort back. somebody with comparable skills will in all probability upward push up from the school ranks. yet I don’t understand if the NFL team will draft him, in line with probability if he’s additionally a kick/punt return guy. The communities immediately seem to desire the better downhill form of back. Sanders wasn’t a reliable third and short back. He ought to juke and jive and make massive runs, yet he often misplaced yardage. A Sanders like back ought to certainly make a team, yet his being a function back is far less probable

I'd say Sanders but never really saw Sayers play so I can't give a fair opinion.

Sayers by far. He didn't play in the comfort of a dome and he could block in addition to carrying the ball.

That's a matter of personal opinion. I would nominate
Sanders because of the era he played in, although
Sayers was great too. I think Jim Brown is personally
better than the both of them though.

You left out Jim Brown. He was better than both of them. He was strong, fast, and tough as Hell. He once played an entire season with a broken toe.

If that is the only choice, then it is Sayers. However, I would say that either O.J. Simpson or Eric Dickerson was better than both of them.
