One of the best places would be the mall at the make- up counter. Ask how long not only worked there but if they are a certified cosmetologist. Another place to ask or look is at the Beauty schools. Get someone who is graduating or ask around the instructors on who has and where they are. Most graduates tell them where they are especially for more word of mouth clientele. Ask your own personal stylist. Same industry again. Most work together for weddings and such big events. Another place would be to get to a professional photographers because they are in the same based industry. Just by asking they should be able to give u a few references and all around ask friends, co-workers etc. Word of mouth advertising helps. Happy hunting.

Go to your local BIG and EXPENSIVE department store -- bloomingdales, saks 5th ave. and look for a brand that you might want to try, I suggest Stila for young natural makeup, Biotherm for moisterizing and Dior for dramatic lines. Get one of their makeup artists to do your makeup and choose one.
