Please don't try to lose weight FAST -- you will only hurt yourself in the long run.
When you lose weight fast, it never stays off. It comes back, with a few extra pounds for good measure, and then it gets harder and harder to lose weight, all the while you are getting heavier and heavier from crash diets. Please, I beg you for your own sake, do not go this route! I know at 15 yrs old and 300 lbs that you might be feeling pretty desperate to lose a lot of weight fast, but trust me sweetie doing so will only make it worse.
What you need to do is to lose the weight SLOWLY. The National Institute of Health's recommendation is to lose 5% of your weight over 3 months, then MAINTAIN that weight for another 3 months before losing again. THIS IS THE KEY! Please trust me, as I've lost 60-80 pounds fast more than once, and the weight has always come back. I am now doing the slow route and it is much better.
These next 5-10 years are going to pass no matter what you do, dietwise. So you can take two routes: 1, do the fast yo-yo dieting, and weigh 350 or more lbs 10 years from now, or 2, do the slow and steady thing (find a way to eat and a way to move/exercise that you can do for life, not just for a few months till you reach the magic number on the scale), and weigh a lot less in 10 yrs (180 lbs?).
Please take my advice to heart. And good luck to you. {{hugs}}

Try weightwatchers or a trusted established weight loss company. You may even want to talk to your doctor to see what kind of plan they recommend. If you are 300lbs you need to seriously change your lifestyle and that is not going to happen overnight. Long-term plans are the key. Deal with the emotional reasons as to why you eat. Start exercising. It's a great stress reliever and even can be an appetite suppressant. Drink more water. Sometimes we think we are craving food, but we're actually dehydrated.
Sorry, hun...I wish I could tell you that there is a magic pill or diet that will make the weight just disappear, but there isn't. Good luck. Tomorrow is a new day. Approach it one day at a time.

LISTEN to the first answer. Choose that answer as the best because it is the best. You might want to try out for every sports team at your school. Screw the people who laugh at you; once word gets around that you're only doing this to lose weight, your true friends, teachers, and mature human beings will respect you even more.
You also need to cut down on calories. Eat smaller, more frequent meals every day, and don't forget breakfast. That's the most important meal in your daily activities. Think of it as stoking the fire. Going back to the smaller meals, maybe an hour before lunch, start eating carrot and celery sticks, or something healthy like that. For lunch, eat something with a little less transfat in it (as in no fries). An hour before you're let go from school, eat some more carrot and celery sticks, or something different like a granola bar. All of this can help your metabolism divert nutrition to other areas of your body that will not transform into fat cells.
Personally, I lost 12 pounds in three weeks. All I did was cut fast food out of my diet, and going to the gym for two hours straight with an hour in there for cardio (the rest weights). Good luck and we're cheering you on!

You might be amazed at how you'll be able to drop a few pounds speedy simply by warding off sodas, consuming higher and getting lively. I do not imply figuring out for two hours an afternoon, however simply creating a factor to perform a little aerobic for 30 minutes an afternoon can knock off the kilos swiftly. Get a exercise DVD or simply opt for a stroll every day. You will begin to look and think a change very quickly.

No pop or juice- too sugary
6 cups of water a day
2-3 cups of low fat milk per day
Eat all meals on small plates, so smaller portions
No chips or pizza- too much fat
3-5 times cardio exercise per week
weight lifting every second day- muscle burns more fat
You can eat from all food groups but control your portions
Do not eat in front of the tv unless you are eating fruit or vegetables
Salad will not help you lose weight- unless you use low fat dressing
It will take a long time, but you can do it!

dont try to lose it fast sweetie...the majority of people that do it fast put it all back on and then some. As someone who has had weight issues almost my whole life...you want to eat right and exercise. Instead of being temped witha burger, get a salad with low fat dressing and put some turkey on it..you will be proud of yourself and it pays off in the long run. just make healthier choices and keep yourself moving, whether its sports, or dancing like a dork in your room (i do that sometimes), or walking a dog or around the block, anything you can do to move around and get your heart rate up and sweat. It will seem like its melting off and hopefully you can make it fun. Good luck to you!

Losing weight fast is not good for your body. If you weigh almost 300 pounds, you should see the doctor. I don't know your height, but your doctor could recommend a balanced regime of diet, exercise that is good for you and your body type and may prescribe a medicine that will enhance your weight loss.

If you eat too much, there's a surgery where they remove 2/3 of your stomach, which makes you feel full 3 times as fast when eating.
Like everyone else says though, don't try to just drop 50 pounds in a week. And please do not become anorexic!!!
