Ok I have a question about a cheat that gets them in the green all the time. I know theres that one electric machine but my people have a child a toddler and twin babies and I cant get their aspirations in gold to use it. I know all the other games had a way to get them in the green all the time. Does anyone know it and if so what is it and how do I use it? Thanks :)

Im looking for Sims2 cheats not Sims1 and also once youre playing the family how do you change them, their appearance and clothes and such? Cna it be done?

To change appearance, you need a mirror. Go to buy mode for that. For changing clothes, you need to buy a dresser. If your sim doesn't own many clothes, you have to get on the phone and call transportation/taxi, and go to a store. Look at the clothes racks and choose 'buy'. If your sim has a woohoo partner, they can do that in the changing booth. It will get a crowd around there cheering them on. lol
There is a cheat called MAXMOTIVES that comes with Nightlife. If you don't have it, a safe way to maxmotives anytime you need is to get the free painting-

The painting can also help with skills and some other things.
When you download it, put it into your download folder:
My documents/ EA GAMES /The Sims 2/ Downloads
When you restart the game after downloading it, go to buy mode and find the decorative things. This painting will be the one with the asterisk by it. Merola's Multipainting.

On the game press Ctrl, Shift, C, at the same time and type in the cheat: Move_objects on
Once you enter the cheat, go to build mode and click on the hand..... then you move the hand onto the character and click delete.
Then go to live mode and you see a X on your character. Click on the character you deleted and your character should be green.
For money: Open the cheat box and type in Kalapacius or Rosebud.
Easy way to get mone:
Kalapacius;!;!;!;!;!;!;!!!!!!!;;;;;;;;;;;
Or
Rosebud;!;!;!;!;!:!:!;
Make a mistake in between the !and the; and hold enter
It will say no such cheat, but your money will go up alot.
Moat: Type in the cheat box: water tool.
Type in search: Sims cheat for PC and chose a website that will give you cheats

once u get 2 the cheat type in screen, type in rosebud and u will get 1000$ every time u do that
