I'd say possibly The Boat of a Million Years, by Poul Anderson. Immortality sounds pretty darn good to me. :P

Interstellar Pig

by William Sleator

I read this book YEARS ago. And for some reason.. above all others I remember almost everything from it. Im talking im 30 now.. and i was maybe 10 when I read it.. yet I can still "see" the book as though I lived it. I have NO IDEA why it left such an impact on me.

maybe I was abducted by aliens lol.

I dont' know, it all depends. Today I'd love to go into Inkheart by Cornilia Funke because I jsut need a little bit of fun (though maybe Dragon Rider by Cornilia Funke, it all depends). When I'm in a real good mood I'd wanna go into the Phantom Tollbooth buy....IDR, or Mediator by Meg Cabot.

Howl's Moving Castle by Diana Wynn Jones. Because I like magic, and, based on the movie, I like the layout of the version of that world. I've always wanted to live in a mixed sort of world where technology and magic and old stuff all meld together.

The Outlander Series by Diana Gabaldon. I would want to be the main character Claire. The book is so romantic.

King Fortis the Brave by LaMontagne and Snyder. They paint a magical land full of humor and adventure that I would love to live in.

I can't say a specific book that I'd like to walk into and stay, but I'd kind of like to get into Marion Zimmer Bradley's world of DARKOVER.
