Hi! I had a tummy tuck and hip liposuction done in July, and I am SO HAPPY with the results, and the whole experience!
I had a twin pregnancy 3 years ago and had a horrible sag! People thought I was still pregnant! It was gross, and I was ashamed of my body and had very low self-esteem. I was an aerobics instructor before I got pregnant, and I thought I would be able to bounce right back, but people do not understand that if your skin gets overstretched (like a rubber band that is overstretched) it will not go back to it's normal shape! That is what happens to some people who have multiple pregnancies or multiple birth pregnancies. A lot of people can get back with just diet and exercise, but it depends on your skin.
I would definitely look into it. See at least 2 plastic surgeons. They can look at your situation and tell you what type of surgery is best for you. I had the hip liposuction done as well to make the contours look more natural. I did not think the surgery was bad at all....kinda like a C-section. You will definitely need a solid 2 or 3 weeks to recover. It is very important to get up and get moving as soon as possible....it helps speed up your recovery time. Within 4 weeks I was COMPLETELY back to normal. And as far as money goes...I never dreamed I could afford a tummy tuck, but my doctor offered financing through Capital One Health Care Finance, and I pay less than $200 a month.
It is worth it! My self-esteem has shot up, and I am no longer ashamed of my body. It has made me a better wife and mother. Hope this helped. Feel free to contact me if you have any more specific questions. Otherwise, best wishes with whatever you do!!!

A girl friend of mine had it done after losing over 100 lbs. She said it hurt afterwords but was way better than having a huge skin flat hanging over her panties. Skin does not shrink. It won't go away. So if you lose a lot of weight and keep it off I might suggest getting the extra work.

Get tummy tuck surgery in India. Cosmetic Surgery is very cheap in India. There is one company that is very famous in India that arranges cosmetic surgery for foreigners in India. They are called the Forerunners Healthcare. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories.
I have also read that they arrange financing for American and Canadian patients, as cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. The cost savings are incredible. As a doctor I personally believe that your cosmetic surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available here is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.
My cousin got a couple of cosmetic surgery procedures in India like the breast reduction, tummy tuck and facelift through the forerunners healthcare. She is more than very happy with the results. She just paid 30% of the amount she was quoted in USA and is all praise for this forerunners healthcare company. I personally have seen the wonderful results and am particularly impressed with the kind of quality care she got from this company. I hope this helps.
