Oh god, I hate that! I had a pair that did that too. Throw them away, or keep them but just wear them for laughs. There's NO way to get rid of it. I tried them all!

Oh no! Try wearing them around the house for now and hopefully, once the sandals have loosened up a bit, the noise will go :-)

Do not get rid of those shoes if you like them, put a liner in them, or even a large elbow/knee band-aid patch lengthwise on the bottom of your foot, it gets rid of the suction between your foot and your insole. Farty noise stops, love my shoes.

I had the same problem! It was the air in my arch area that kept sucking and farting. Really, it is too embarassing to wear them. I tried to put powder on my feet, I tried putting a Dr. Scholl's pad on the arch of the sandal. Good luck to you.

You can't. The same thing happens to a few pairs of my own. It means that they do not fit correctly. You'll have to get rid of em or wear socks.

Amusing...Probably not to you while walking...I get it...
Perhaps you might cut some little grooves across the hollow
that is causing the suction...

Walk on them a whole lot softer and lighter. Probably slower too. I have shoes like that, btu they make a squish sound because they absorb water. :P
