I have a DVD burner that came with the computer.(HP). And so far it only burns select DVD blank, and I have all kinds of brands. Is there a way to make it works on all brands or what??? My burner can burn any format. included double layer.

I would suggest you try look for the latest firmware of your DVD burner and upgrade it. That may helps since usually what's included in the latest firmware is latest support of all the DVD media.
Each blank DVD media actually has an ID code in there. If the DVD burner don't understand that ID code, it may not know how to burn that DVD disc.

Blank DVDs are made at different qualities, and some are very poorly made and therefore some burners won't work on them. Use Verbatim, they are high quality and will burn in just about anything.
