Secret Communities unveiled?!--About the Da Vinci Code..?

Question

Considering the 'Da Vinci Code' is a factual fiction book.. So that would mean secret communities like 'The Priory of Sion' are actually real and active?! and..k, how come the book was let out into the light if the Priory needs to keep its secrecy or the Vatikan needs to bury those 'facts' about what it did in the past?!
Need to figure this out..

The priory of Zion. the knights Templar, and the free masons are almost as dangerous as the Vatican.The truth is hidden but my guess Vatican knows almost everything.
