The only real vampires are a specie of bat, and a whole lot of insects. Human vampires ??? Nope, except in stories and imaginations.

There will never be consensus as to whether or not real vampires exist. Nor, I think, will there ever be consensus as to what a real vampire is.

In my opinion and experience, real vampires do exist. I am a psy-sang vampire. That means I feed on energy, and can draw it from others or from blood. Some vampires only feed on blood, some only on energy from others. Each vampire is different as to their feeding habits and how they determine themselves to be vampires. And, of course, some of the "vampires" are simply those who wish they were Dracula. Real vampires are not the things of myths and legends, but simply people trying to exist.

If you would like more information on vampires, there are several places to look. Specifically, I recommend Sanguinarius: The Vampire Support Page and SphynxCat's Real Vampires Support Page. Both of those pages are run by women who are very knowledgeable about real vampires, and provide a lot of information about the kinds of vampires. The other group I recommend is ShadowLore, which is an organization that seeks to bring all types of otherkin for support. While it is specifically for all types of otherkin, there are several vampires active in the group.

Hope that answers your question.

Yes but not in a way most people think. Now a days its more of a cult type thing. And I don't know enough to explain whether or not they actually drink blood but I know they don't bite necks and suck blood. I always thought vapires were sexy but it only had something to do with the neck biting thing...my neck is a hot spot! No, I'm not a vampire but I always wished I could meet one. But he's gotta be a sexy one.

I now for sure there are energy vampires. Being around them leaves me drained. Some people bring unexpected lightness and comfort to your life. They crackle with energy, practically electrify you with their presence. And then there are those who leave you feeling stressed out. Or guilty. Or exhausted down to your very last molecule. I call them energy vampires, and obnoxious or meek, they come in all forms. The sob sister, for one, always considers herself the victim. The world is always against her, and she'll recount every horrible thing that has happened to her, wallowing in every perceived slight. The charmer is a constant talker or joke-teller who has to be the center of attention. The blamer, on the other hand, doles out endless servings of guilt. And then there's the drama queen, the co-worker who claims she almost died from a high fever or the neighbor who lives in extremes of emotion—life is unbelievably good or horrifically bad.

Depends on your definition. Throughout history there have been people who got off by drinking blood but I think that the notion of pale counts piercing necks with their sharp fangs and sucking blood has been discredited by now.
