Well, this course depends on the accuracy of the bullying claim of the shooter (and no, i'm not justifying the act of that person). I guess the shooting (where the principal was killed by that kid brought up old memories of my own life. What I mean is about 20yrs ago i was assaulted weekly (3rd) by a group of high schoolers (hs next door to one i was at) and I remember that after asking for help from shool and told nothing could be done i brought a large bowie knife to school (not to kill like that kid, but as a means of defense in case i was attacked again). I remember getting caught, and father fighting for my side, got transferred (which i guess didn't helped since i was raped that first day at the new school) .. but still, i guess I understand somewhat of what that kid might have experienced if he felt no one was going to help.
Question then is what can we do, though not sure to be honest in what will work or is the right answer, hence i'm in here, asking all of you. Thanks

I am sorry to hear about what happenedto you. I went through a similar situation(though not as severe as you). One of the problems is in attempting to prevent bullying by discouraging spanking we have only worsened it. The other is that unless parents start taking more ethical responsibility for the actions of their children the situation will only get worse.
Any parent going through this I would either suggest either home schooling or have the child transferred to either a private school(if you can afford it) or a charter school.

Actually, the principal in question was MY principal (I used to live in Caz and attended Weston). I had problems with two girls bullying me and he had called the sheriff to come have a talk with them. It's crazy. Of all the places I live, the one place, where I almost graduated, where my dad's family lives and is from-I couldn't believe and it's still astounding. If it can happen in Cazenovia, WI, it can happen ANYWHERE. I don't know what can be done about it. How can you predict something so heinous?

Yes, it used to be the important who used to be shot oftentimes via a pupil. No phrase at the important. What form of ill f*ing global are we dwelling in? When I used to be in institution (no longer too lengthy in the past) the most important worry we had used to be entering fistfights and wasting. Now, as a father or mother you need to fear approximately rapists entering faculties, disgruntled weenies who do not shower and sweetness why they do not have peers coming in with weapons to shoot up the position, and many others. It's unhappy, relatively unhappy.
