Good one - no, I can't leave home without it. Mainly for emergencies though, not for chatting. In fact, it's usually turned off, but I have it with me so that when I need it, it's good to know it's there. It's sorta like a security thing for me.

If I'm leaving home with my husband and my daughter, then, yes, I can leave it behind. If I'm leaving home with out either one of the aforementioned people, then I have it with me.
