You don't need to do anything at all. Be his friend. You're already doing that. Just continue.

It's ok to still be his friend. I bet it was hard for him to tell u this, which happen whenever someone has to tell family or friend that he or she is gay. And I'm sure u were shocked( right)
U shouldn't stop being his friend because he's still the same person, it's just that he happens to like men.
I hope u don't allow this to end ur friendship with him

Well,of course you're suppose to be surprised,well,it all depends on his behaviour,how long have you guys been friends,what do you two share as friend,however all you need to do is be there for him it have been a big step for him to tell it to you,show that you care,be his friend he can count on,but most of all be yourself,do not act any way different,let him be able to have any conversation with you.Maybe it not his fault sometimes it just happens.Hope this help!

as long as hes happy then let him get on with it i know its not as they say normal but hey its the year 2006!! just let him know that your there for him as in a friend!!
and say please do not do anything with anyone infront of people keep it to yourselves behind closed doors

Nothing. You were friends before, so what? It's as if you knew he had black hair, and he told you that he was really blonde, but dyed it. He's still your friend so what??

treat him the same as you did the day before he told you.....homosexuality is not a contagious disease so yo have nothing to fear...you should feel honoured that he trusted and cared enough to tell you
