1) what is a mobo?
2) what is agp slot for?
3) somebody said my chip (athalon 63 3000 @ 2.0 gig) was a 3.7 upgrade or something like that. what does that mean?

Motherboard is the big board inside of your computer that everything hooks into. AGP slot is for graphics cards. Don't really know what you mean on the last one.

2) agp slot is for a video card.
3)most likly it means that it was overclocked. dont buy it if thats what you were going to do.
