I just got an acer laptop monday and it ROCKS! I'm using it right now. It has what's currently almost the best things on the market. It was also cheap. It's a model number 5102wlmi. It says windows vista premium ready, and I'm guessing that's really good from what I've read on it so far. I have alot of music and videos and it works fine. There's no problem so far with running any of the 3d games I have, either. I got it on circuit city's website if you're interested in getting it for yourself.

i do have one myself now, i would reserve my comments on performance wise as there are many ppl out there saying so. but i personally like its design very, very much.. i mean take a comparison with other brands. i am using a second hand acer Pentium 3 and to tell u the truth, if i have the $ to buy a new one in the future, i am hesitant to dump it away := ) thus i am trying to add a wireless adapter card if possible.. it really turns me on these days with my acer notebook :- )

I am going to buy one, they are really good laptops/desktops. Acer makes good desktops/laptops, as a matter a fact, it can be a very good type of laptop to buy.

Wow that's a company I haven't heard of in a very long time. They use to make some good computers, but then they dropped out of sight and now it looks like they are trying to make a come back. I hadn't even noticed them until I saw your question.
