my mom is a babysitter and if a kid is being bad she pus them in a corer with out toys and makes them stand there untill thgey stop crying or fiddgetting or whatever they are doing that accured after the punnishment ( example. if they run in the house after you told them not to put them in a corner and if they began to stomp or cry wait untill they are done and then start the time on their punishment...if they continue to cry( and they understand you when they tell you something) tell them that the time starts over each time they cry or stomp.ect. ) also if they cry when you put them down for a nap dont pick them up or let them play, move all the toys away from them and let them cry.also when they are bad around their sister dont allow it.do the corner thingy and like i said if they cry or talk or something start the time over.also another thingy my mom does so they learn their leason is after you think they are done with their punishment ask them what they did wrong and have them answer if they get it wrong tell them to stand in the corner untill they figure it out( just try 5-10 mins because thats an entirnite to a kid) and ask the question again if they get it wrong again tell them what they did and not to do it again!

My son is 2, he loves babies!!!! We have 2 new ones in our family I am the auntie to both. My son is very curious about the babies, and he does want to help. I let him hold the babies extra binky...it makes him feel like he is really helping to care for the baby. Show what you want the 2 yr.old to do by example...that's how we usually learn.

I try to tell my son he needs to be gentle and quiet around the baby and he is always awesome for me. Does rewarding the little guy help you?

Is what the little guy doing so bad? Or is he just exploring the new item in his home? Things that drive us crazy could actually be him learning. Does he act this way around mom? Or just for you? Could be testing the limits too.

Good luck, stay calm and use your best judgment.

Make him understand that the baby is HIS little sister and teach him "how to be a big brother" and "how to take care of a baby." Explain everything you do for her. Explain she is fragile and not to hurt her. Give him fun jobs to do for her, whether or not they really help her. The point is that he thinks he is doing things to make her happy. Share her with him as if she is a special gift, and it's very special to be a big brother and have a little sister.

get him to help or think he is helping ,ask him to pass you the bottle or some thing ,give him a toy teddy or something to take care of.read him a book while baby is feeding ,hard I know but you can.and give him extra hugs.tell him how lucky he is to have a baby of his own.

Be the boss! If he is being mean to his sister then spank his butt or take away toys. Don't let him walk all over you...
