DO you mean a Scandinavian language (Danish/Norwegian/Swedish)? Or a Nordic language (as above + Icelandic, Faroese, Finnish, Saami)?
The only people to speak a 'Viking' language are Icelanders, since modern Icelandic is in essence old Norse, the language of the Vikings.

English is called a Germanic language; since German customs and language were heavily influence by the Nordic invasions, I'd say that English is actually a Viking language.

I speak little swedish. I like the sound of the scandinavian languages, it's strange and beautiful for me, just like the scandinavian people are.
english has root with the viking languages but it's not as original and as close to the language of the vikings as the scandinavian languages are.

Icelandic is the Old Norse language and is similar in most respects to the present Norwegian language. I would tell you from experience that reading Icelandic Sagas in books that often give footnotes in Icelandic, if you read German, you can understand 85% of it.
