I was on my way home after spending a week in California with a guy I had met on-line. I must have been looking as sad as I felt because the ticket agent asked me if anything was wrong. I smiled sadly and told her I left my heart in San Francisco. She was sympathetic and bumped me up to first class. While I was waiting on my flight, my cell phone rang. I checked the Caller ID...it was my honey! "Hi Baby Face", I answered eagerly. He said, "I miss you already...I want to hold your hand...I want to kiss you...I want to wrap you in my arms". My heart melted but decided to tease him a bit and said "Your nose is going to grow if you keep fibbing like that". He then said "You've got to trust me that I'm telling you the truth, Babe. We've both been hurt before but we have to conquer our suspicious minds." "OK, I conceded...I honestly believe you miss me already...but there's got to be something about me you don't love". "Your feets too big", he said with a laugh. Then he continued, "Don't go home...come back here and be with me." And with that, I just left the airport and took a taxi back to his arms.
