The Jitterbug is a swing dance, a subset of Lindy Hop, with an emphasis on 6-count moves and fast spins.

The dance originated in the United States in the late 1930s and is predominantly associated with East coast swing and rockabilly music.

The jitterbug is a very fast dance that started some time in the 1940's and the moves were unbelievable. You should really try to find a DVD of that dance. My parents would enter jitterbug contests and win trophies and I honestly don't know how they ever moved like that. You have to see it to believe me. The man picks the woman up in the air, twirls her, slides her on the ground, she goes under his legs and jumps up without missing a beat...and so on.

Its a huge chook... however there may be truthfully an additional partt in which dorthy will get in that carage factor and begins following te yellow brick avenue... on the starting, and all of the munchkins are round making a song and within the again you'll see this munchin with a huge hat on and all wearing white kinda swaying from side to side like shes on a ropee.. its weirdd.. thats in which i heard the striking side is.. that different side this can be a huge birdd.

its a dance popular in the 1940s ..american servicemen brought it to the uk during the war
