Yesterday I made a question about sex, nobody answered it. I have noticed you preffer to talk about that topic privately, am I right? If so, why?

For me, talking about sexual likes and dislikes is something to share privately with my partner, and is a very enjoyable part of the relationship. Why? For me, I guess it is just part of my personality.

I asked a very explicit question about sex recently and got more than 20 answers, most of them honest and helpful. And not everyone on this site is English, anyway. I don't think you can be yourself. Do you come from a country where sex is discussed freely in public ?

Older English people don't talk about sex at all
Middle-aged ones refer to it occasionally and then often in a humorous way
Younger ones talk about sex quite openly and often use explicit language to illustrate a point
It's all part of our heritage and we have the Europeans to thank for our change in attitudes ... Scandinavian pornography, Dutch and German naturists, French films, Balkan nudist beaches, dusky Spanish and Portuguese ladies etc. ;-)

Those people who talk about the it most are the ones who get it the least. Don't talk about it, let actions speak louder than words, if you are having problems in a relationship you may need to talk about your life together and not your sex life together

I do not know about English people in general, but I have dated two Enlish girls (not at the same time obviously), and they loved talking about sex! They both said it helped improve the sexual relationship between couples.

I don't know about English people am Scots. in Scotland people only talk about sex honestly when intoxicated, other times its kept very private

Yep, most English people like to talk about sex. At length. And generally it forms the basis of most of our humour.

well im english and i love talking about sex,especially with my friends,we never leave out any details!i often give sexual adivce on here,and ive done plenty of things in my life to be able to answer a lot of questions,im open and honest about these things.i hope to answer a question of yours again sometime :)
