He'll make a great buddy! Someone to hang out with with no strings attached. Not everyone was born to marry. I wouldn't any less or higher of a man who has no desire to marry. At least folks know where he stands on the issue.

In todays society, people could care less. More and more people, especially with the high rate of divorces, are opting not to get married anymore and are leaning more on living together more for financial reasons than actual love itself. TV has helped to destroy family values and morals and have shown it just as easy to move in together than get married and a whole less easier to break up. So what was once unacceptable in society is now very much widely acceptable and normal for today.

Personally, I think it indicates a shallow or perhaps a self-protective character.
That said, if the man is honest about and lets women know that he's not ever going to pop the big question, then there's nothing wrong with it.

I respect him. He knows what he wants in life. If marriage is not in the picture, that is his choice. Society makes us feel that if you are not married, no children, don't own your own home, etc., etc., etc. then you are nothing. That couldn't be the furthest from the truth. To each his own.

I think that he is smart. that way if something happens where the couple doesn't stay together there is no messy divorce. Also if they need space then there they go two different homes.
