from what i see the females cry and the men are the comforters?

Most definitely. It shows that the guy can see and understand a sad situation. It also means that he probably will be more sympathetic when the proper time comes to have feelings for other people and circumstances and can be comforting to his wife, girlfriend, or close friend. To me, it also shows he's a real he man because he's not afraid to show his true feelings.

Thats what women need. Sometimes its ok for a man to cry at a sad movie, but lets get real. Women don't want an overly sensitive guy. They want to feel like they can be protected if need be, but also feel like their guy can be sentimental sometimes.

It is absolutely acceptable, it doesn't mean you are a wimp, just that you have feelings and emotions. I think it's sweet that a guy can cry at a sad movie.

Hmmm if a guy cries during a movie it means that he's sensitive, a lot of girls like that.
I do...but I also like it when a guy is there to comfort a girl. :)
