In the complete Oxford dictionary there is a medical word over 100 letters long. I can't remember (or even pronounce) the word but I know it does is exist and is something to do with a certain disease.

PneumonoÂultraÂmicroÂscopicÂsilicoÂvolcanoÂconiosis, which is actually a word devised as a hoax. So the longest non-technical word would be flocciÂnauciÂnihiliÂpiliÂfication, which means the act of estimating something as worthless.
