Easyway – Allen Carr.

Honestly it is the only way I have ever known to actually help people quite, stay quit and be damn happy about it...unfortunately most people think the idea of an easy way to quit smoking is nonsense as people think it needs to be hard…it really doesn't.

This does exactly what it says, it is an easy way to stop smoking, and the way it works is essentially by de-programming the ingrained notions you have on smoking and quitting smoking so that it deals with the psychological problems of your smoking rather than the chemical. The chemical addiction is not the problem, you can go all night without being woken up by a craving, you will find sometimes you're having so much fun you forget to have a cigarette, quitting smoking does not have serious withdrawal.

Socially we are taught that smoking needs to be difficult, we live now in a very anti-smoking society, rather than a pro-quitting society, where there is no real support for people to quit, it teaches non-smokers that smokers are idiots and smokers that they have to suffer when they quit – if you believe it is difficult, this makes quitting smoking difficult – you believe to quit smoking requires will power and that quitting smoking will be depriving yourself of something you like doing, when you do not really like doing it, nor are you depriving yourself of anything, you are actually gaining something by quitting smoking.

Problem with most methods is that they will either involve going cold-turkey or nicotine replacement. Cold-turkey is not only depriving yourself of smoking but it is also just dealing with the chemical addiction rather than dealing with the psychological, nicotine replacement isn't depriving you however it is again only dealing with the chemical addiction, this is not the problem with smoking.

Allen Carr can explain this far better than I can, so let me just stick to telling you about Easyway – yes, it sounds gimmicky but it is the only way I have ever seen anyone quit smoking for good, and the only method to quit smoking that I have seen people happy with rather than being moody miserable and remaining under the impression that they need to fight the urge to smoke every day for the rest of their lives.

A book on Easyway from Amazon will set you back just £4, less than a pack of cigarettes, the book also offers money off their clinics – their clinics boast well over 90% success rate and give you a money-back guarantee – so that is just £4 you are spending for something that will help you quit smoking, be happy about quitting smoking and remain a non-smoker.

Not only that but you are allowed to carry on smoking while you are reading the book, in fact you are specifically told to carry on smoking while you read and the further you get into the book the less you want to smoke.

Check out the book reviews;

You really don't know unless you try it, I honestly recommend this to everyone I know, a lot of people are too scared to try it because they aren't ready to quit yet, but all those who have read it agree it is fantastic and the only sensible way to go about quitting smoking.

Take it from someone who has quit smoking twice. The first time I quit smoking I did the Hollywood diet for 8 hours I drank the detoxifying juice that cleans out your system. Serious as anything it cleared the urge for me and I never smoked again.

Now as a woman I started smoking again when I gained a few pounds in fear of becoming over weight.

So then I wanted to quit smoking again. The best time to quit smoking is when your already sick and can't smoke. I know it sounds funny but your on meds for it and you feel so awful your body doesn't know the difference as to why. After awhile you just do not miss it physically any more. After the 11th day you are actually over the urge. Every time before that I would run to the gym and pound out the extra energy. I will totally admit I was still craving it but the rest after day 11 was literally habits that I had to break.

Working out at the gym kept me slim so I could beat the habit. It isn't easy the hardest time to not want to smoke is when have a drink or two. or while you drive. Let me know how it works out for you.

Dont try to think of it as giving up, that makes you feel like your taking something good away, try to think of it as not killing yourself anymore. I went cold turkey 18 months ago, all those patches and gums are an expensive waste of money. Speaking of money if you were a 40 a day smoker (as i was) thats roughly (in UK terms) 10 pounds a day, get a big glass jar and put 10 pounds in it every day you dont smoke - you'll be amazed how fast it mounts up, my jar has now become a dustbin and its got nearly 5 and a half thousand pounds in it, which im using later this month to go on a 2 1/2 week safari in Africa, holiday of a lifetime and all ive done to get it is stop lighting cigarettes and inhaling lots of toxins.

I wont kid you that its easy to do because its not, people have stated that it was easier to quit heroin than it was to quit smoking - and that was from a guy on TV who'd quit both, one thing that most people dont know is that the physical chemical addiction to nicotine only affects you for 4 days, after that its all in the mind. This surprised me but is a proven medical fact apparently.

Good luck quitting, its never easy, but think of all the shoes you could buy with the cash you'll save!

The only real way to give up smoking is WILL POWER i packed in smoking after 32 years without any of the gums or patches, the first couple of weeks are the hardest, but you have to have the determination to pack in smoking, if you really want to you will succeed.

You don't say how long you've been smoking for or how many you smoke a day?
Go to you Doctors they can put you onto a scheme to give up, using patches or something like that. IT'S FREE, and you practise nurse should see you regularly.
Trust me it IS HARD.
I am a smoker, I gave up for three years, it was depression that set me off again.
I wish you the best of luck.

I stopped by using the patches, go to your doctor & get them on prescription as it's cheaper.

I've been off them since March & surprised everyone I did it
Tried hypnotism & thast didn't work, gum tasted rotten & I took a cigarette to take the tase away

Read Alan Carr's 'Stop Smoking' book. It was brilliant, I had quit cold turkey by the end of the book - almost a year ago today.
