I hate to ask again, but nothing anyone has said has worked so far...
He goes from person to person annoying the hell out of them and it is obviously my week for him to annoy me. He keeps sitting next to me staring at what I do on the PC, reading my IMs out loud. Every time I tell him to go away he either hits me or says "shut up" and stays where he is. Then he starts climbing on me. My laptop has to stay in the living room. My mom is ignoring him. What do I do??? He keeps telling me to make him food, open drinks for him, do this, do that, and if I don't, he yells until my mom DOES notice, and she looks down on me for not doing those things for him. I'm really losing patience! (I am 13 he is 7)

that's how younger siblings are, they will do anything to get your attention and I know, since I am the younger sibling in my family, but I matured since then

he keeps on annoying you because you keep paying attention to him. the minute you start ignoring him it should stop.
But that is a very cruel thing to do to a little brother.
chances are he looks up to you and really want to be your friend.
i notice you guys have a relatively big age gap between the two of you.
maybe a bit more tolerance from your side will ease the situation a bit.
i think your brother desperately needs to feel accepted by you.

I am 13 with a 6- year- old brother, and I get in trouble for not doting on his every whim. You have my sympathy, but brothers are absolutely hopeless. I should know. I have 3 of them.

when you guys get older you will be normal to one another. My brother and I use to be the same way...i'm 19 and he's 17 and we barely talk because I go to college. Don't worry whe he turn 16, he will probably won't want to talk to you but I'm pretty sure that you can't wait 9 years from now so just keep it cool.

it's the nature of little boys, especially brothers, to bother their big sisters.... he probably IDOLIZES you. I would set aside a day or two a week where you two do something special together, that way he may have more respect for your alone time and leave you alone.
