I am building my computer, and i can't decide what kind of gamingmprocessor. The socket does not matter. I have not purchased a motherboard. I would also like to keep it under $100.00.

That is about the best I can do for under $100. Hard to find a good gaming processor for that cheap. Core 2 Duo is the best, but is not under $100.

The older AMD processors have come down in price and will beat any INTEL for same price in games.
