They are happy to start bogus wars abroad, invent islamofascist boogey men to scare the American people, and take away our right of habeus corpus. Why does " democracy " abroad = a police state at home?

George W. Bush, along with Dick Cheney, Karl Rove, Condoleezza Rice, Paul Wolfowitz, and Donald Rumsfeld, played right into the terrorists' hands. Bush has acceded to the terrorists' fear mongering and in fact has become their accomplice (or dupe) in spreading and deepening their message of terror.

Let's face it: Osama bin Laden, holed up in his cave somewhere, must be laughing at us. He's calling the shots, and he really doesn't have to lift a finger. Why? George Bush is doing his bidding. His administration has suspended many civil liberties and deftly defied the U.S. Constitution. Junked the Geneva Convention. Tortured prisoners. Oversaw criminal acts at Abu Ghraib. Ignored due process at Guantanamo. Engaged in domestic spying without court supervision. Flushed billions down the toilet in Iraq. Weakened our military readiness. Set much of the world against us. The Middle East is now ablaze in terrorism. At home, we live constantly in "elevated fear" levels (whether color coded or not). Our internal politics have become poisonously divided, not united. Osama bin Laden is playing George Bush like a cheap fiddle.

The Republicans now want to ride the terror bandwagon back to electoral victory. If you're frightened to death about our national security, they tell us, vote Republican. And thus Osama bin Laden wins again, with the Republicans as his co-conspirators.

Bush and bin Laden have become a tag team. They may be bitter rivals, but theirs has become a symbiotic, mimetic rivalry. The problem is, Osama bin Laden has gained more than the upper hand. He's won, because George Bush has been playing this dangerous game on bin Laden's terms. It's time for the rest of us to call it like it is: George Bush has lost. He screwed up. Big time.

And yes...Bush & Republicans are terrorists!
Terrorists want to terrorize. They want us to live in fear. They want to get inside our heads, not just our subway stations. They want us to lose our innocence, our sense of casual safety. They want to disrupt our everyday routines, so that we have to entertain the possibility that they might strike at any moment. They want us to dwell upon the specter of their hatred, so that we become haters, too.

i agree with you but the bad thing is that we the people voted for that guy in the 1st place. about the hole 9/11 thing i think it was not fair to the familys that lost loved ones that day. But there are still questions that haven't been answered and that our gov. will never answer because that dont care much about us only about there rep. since when do airplanes dissaper with out a trace. the steel that was use to make the twin towers melts at 2000 deg. and would have to be at least 3000 deg. to get it red hot that would turn into some thing like lava with in this case didn't happen. There was a fireman that made it up to the 1st tower and saw the plane on fire and toll the chef that they could put it out with TWO water hoes. that means that in fire didn't bring donw the towers. now that there was nothing left of fight 94 but a hole in the ground not even close to the size of the airplane , than to say that ther was nothing left if it by that i mean there was nothing there. And if any ones ever flown before they would know that any cell phone from any company would not work at that atti. thats why the have an airplane phones!!! about the black boxs on airplanes there made of mental that is pretty much undestractable but they dissaper int he rubles of the towers but the passaport of the terro. on the air planes were found? come on. we live in a great country that gives us the power to ask quistion so do so americans. for and of our sakes!!!

Of course!! He only used 9/11 as an excuse to delve himself into other countries, with the whole terrorism speech, and the we are at war crap. Who's at war?? The US is not at war, they forced themselves into other people's business, as always. The US has to learn from the past, but apparently they can't, they re-elected the dork. What can you expect?? And the sad thing is that there are americans that can't see beyond their nose and ask why americans are so hated all over the world. The US states still colonizes and can't accept it yet!! Then they are fearful because Venezuela wants to have a seat in the UN and Condom Rice (haha) craps her panties and goes with this agenda of fear and intolerance! Bah! BOO to Condoleeza Rice, I am ashamed that you being an african american support Bush's anti everything campaigns!

I'm not a terrorist and my rights have not been taken away or infringed upon. Are you a terrorist, do you have a reason to worry?

Another lib with more personal attacks calling Bush supporters terrorists.

In truth more far left libs tend to be terrorists ie. ELF, ALF, Earth First, PETA, etc. These are home grown terrorists groups who destroy private property and in some cases have killed people to get their political point across. That sounds like terrorism to me.

Having served in Iraq the islamofascists are not bogeymen, they are real and they really did fly planes into the twin towers killing almost 3000 people. That doesn't sound like the cause of a bogus war.

My gosh, you really swallow that rabid left propoganda hook line and sinker don't you. No one's right of Habeus Corpus has been suspended. The new law does not apply to American Citizens. You might try reading actual documents. I agree with the other answers, if I'm terrified of anything, it's people that believe every conspiracy theory they hear.

You are not informed of the truth and definitely not in touch with reality. You scare me more than the Islam-o-fascists that want to blow up the world. What do you know about habeus corpus rights? What have you been jailed for? A Sheehan sit-in?

The real terrorists perpetrated an unprovoked attacked on America on 9/11. Nearly 3,000 Americans died that day. The real terrorists are being routed out of the holes they are hiding in so that ungrateful people like you can live in peace.

President Bush is a guy with backbone who has the braveness to make demanding, yet unpopular judgements needed for the rustic's and the international's freedom and safe practices. he's a guy who does the right component, no longer the known component (i.e., opposite of Clinton). also, as a gut verify, on each occasion a political candidate has the Leftists up in fingers, that baby-kisser is possibly doing some thing proper.
