I would definitely choose The Prydain Chronicles by Lloyd Alexander. Gwythaints and all the cool characters, Kaw, Glew,and Prince Rhun.....cool huh?

Michael Moorcocks "Elric" stories with either James Marsters or Julian Sands playing Elric. Moorcocks stories are unique among heroic fantasy tales & if done right would make great movies.
( On the other hand, seeing how badly they screwed up Conan, maybe I should quit while I'm ahead!)
