Yes, I'm a nicer neighbor than most of my neighbors are. I don't mow at 8 o'clock on a Sunday morning, I don't think everybody in the neighborhood likes to hear my music turned up real loud and I don't have a yappy dadgummit dog that I leave outside at all hours of the night. And if I see you outside struggling with something, I offer a helping hand. On the upside, there's one family across the street who are really good neighbors. I could use a dozen more like them.

We only have one set of neighbors right next door, then you have to start crossing streets to get to our other "neighbors." We have watched our neighbors house when they have gone away for work and collected their mail and papers so that the house would not appear to be empty. When their dog gets away he comes right over to our house and we open the doors and let him and then call over to their house and let them know that we have their dog. The neighbors who walk their dogs always get treats for their dogs when they are walking and the dogs always want to stop at our house. We live in a subdivision that has a board and I am on the board so I get to vote on whether someone can make improvements to their property. I enforce the rules that the subdivision has in place to protect the people and the property (meaning I call the police on the kids who jump the fence to get into the pool because I don't know all the kids and their parents).

Yes I work for some of my neighbors. I'm a pet-sitter and I look after their animals when they go away on vacation or business. Some of my neighbors I've known all my life.

I have just recently moved so I am just getting to know the new neighbours. But my last neighbours were wonderful. They became more like my second family.Every special occasion they had l was invited to.My children would stay the night at their house when their grandchildren were staying the night at their house. At the moment I miss them an awful lot.

My neighbor is an asshole. He takes up a piece of my parking space repeatedely and makes a lot of noise throughout the night. He says hello when I see him, but that does not keep himg from being an asshole. I am of the opinion that being considerate by not interferring with your neighbor's activites such as sleep and trying to park, make you a nice neighbor.
