I want everything on my computer back to factory settings like when i first bought it. Its a compaq sr1820nx with windows xp. Can someone tell me where the option is at in my computer to do this. i've dont it before but i want it back to factory settings again. Thank you

Just put the disc that came with your Compaq. It is called "System Restore Disc" or something similar. It should guide you step by step on how to restore your computer back to the factory settings. If no system restore disc, then get a copy of windows xp and install it fresh then download the compaq drivers for your devices separetely. I hope this helps!

It's possable to create resore discs if not you can buy new restore discs fron hp.

open your start menu/ all programs/ accessories/ system tools/ system restore.
