Anything By Dean Koontz, or John Saul. Also have you read Anne Rice's books about the Mayfair witches? They are very good too!

you might like a book called the beast it is about a boy and a girl that go on the rollercoaster the beast and the boy goes on by hinsels and doesnt come back so the girl goes on it or something like that
