there not scared of being alone, there isn't anyone there to "paw" and complement, and remark and make then the center of attention, that is why there so scared of being alone..........

Because it is NOT COOL to be single. Everybody is talking about relationships and how to get and keep the man of your dreams. Also, it is much tougher being a single female than it is being a single male. Many women, beautiful or not, are needy and need reassurance that a man cares about them no matter what. For instance, many young, attractive girls don't go out to the club to have fun with their girlfriends, but they go to find Mr. Right. Another explanation is the particular girl's upbringing, the existance of a father figure (or lack thereof), which may explain the dire need for a man. There is nothing out there in this world that would encourage women to not be so desparate and be single for a day.

am a beautiful women and i am not scared of being alone don't get me wrong it's nice to a have a man by your side

I have no idea, they just don't want to be alone. Some people are needy and need self assurance at everything they do. and i guess being in a relationship and having a man say youre beautiful and i love you give them a sense of purpose in life.

I think it differs for every other woman out there.
Some are what you've mentioned because let's face it we ALL like to be cared for at some point in our lives, either that or just to spend the rest of our existence with.
Then there're some who're pretty OK just the way they are & are leading contented lives S-O-L-O without a partner or otherwise.

Many of us have a preference for being unattached. More freedom, more fun, more choices. Having been married and in committed relationships, from my point of view it is so nice to be alone...believe me, no desperation here.

Maybe because they know that they are not nearly as beautiful on the inside as on the outside, and that exterior beauty will only last so long and get them so far.

maybe they have low self-esteem because theyve been hurt before and theyre scared of being hurt again, resulting in them being alone.
