My period has been over for three days...and now i'm spotting and cramping...why?

It's probably discharge that has a little leftover blood in it.

This same exact thing happened to me. My period came in may (2005) and it was normal then 4 days later started bleeding again (not heavy. no clots) and it was Red-to light red-to brown. I had pains in my back and stomach and also i was tired.
People had me believeing i was having 2 periods in a month which i never have done.
After six days of this i finally went to the er and they told me i was pregnant but when they done an ultrasound i had already miscarried. I was 5 weeks pregnant and didn't even know it.
They admitted me to the hospital to observe me and the next day i got out i wasn't bleeding or hurting so if i hadn't of gone to the ER i would not have know i was even pregnant and had a miscarriage.
I urge you to go and take a pregnancy test right away. If it positive please go to the ER.
I hope this isn't happening to you cause it is a terrible thing to go through (Body and Mind)

Could be stresss. Give it a few days and if it doesn't stop talk to your Dr.
