He didn't get tricked. First of all, with Kasey sliding through the grass, I'm sure Jimmie was afraid of being involved in the mess if he continued down pit road. Also, there was the chance that Kasey would bring out the caution and by coming down pit road, Jimmie basically would have given up the lead.

He made the right move, even if it cost him some time.

I don't know, but that was an awesome finish!! I LOVED how it turned out. I'm a huge Tony Stewart fan so every race he wins is a great race, but I also loved that Martin finished 3rd and Jeff and Jimmie both had bad finishes. YAY!!!! Chalk up another win for the 20 team. WOOHOOO!!!

Tony Stewart is just pretty much the best driver ever. lol.

He gambled and lost.He was betting Kasey would spin onto the front steach but the car coasted to the pits.Jimmy made the choice to stay out(crew cheif, spotter) but NASCAR did not think that the spin put any car on the track in jepordy of wrecking and unfortunatly Jimmy got caught in a non-event event.

he crept back out of pit road in an attempt to avoid kasey kahne getting hit.. he wasn't like.. "oh good caution is going to come out..let me sneak back on the track and wait.." if that was the case than he's a friggin' idiot!! there is no way they would have brought out the caution for that..

he was coming to pit either way when kahne spun. i don't see a trick anywhere in it. i thought it was priceless that the 1st and 2nd car coasted across the finishline b/c they were out of gas. a win is a win though.

I don't know about that, but it cost him some major points. His chances of winning a championship in 2006 has all but ended.
