No women are as permanent a members of the labor force as their male counterparts, statistically in jobs they do not yet earn equal pay but instead make about 77 cents on the dollar.. !

Women are also becoming a more predominant role in the business community and thus creating labor opportunities!

In history women have been home makers and not in the work force. Today, with the present economy and changing definitions of family, women are entering into the work force in greater numbers. Society still has some safe guards for women with children so they don't have to work if they don't want to or can't. Men don't have the same opportunity.

Women are considered transient because we put our families first. We will call in sick to take care of our kids and such.
